My goals for the rest of the week are going to be focused on temperance. So from right now (10:05 am Tuesday) until the end of the week (11:59 pm Sunday), these are my goals:
1. SELF-CONTROL: Have no more than three alcoholic drinks. I've gotten into the habit of having a few glasses of wine a couple of times a week and I'd like to kick those empty calories!
2. DISCIPLINE: Do four runs and two strength training workouts.
3. MODERATION: Enjoy the social outings I have scheduled (happy hour and dinner on Tuesday, happy hour on Friday, and a birthday party on Saturday night) WITHOUT overindulging.
This is going to be tough for me!!

So far I've had one of my three alcoholic drinks (at happy hour yesterday). I still have a happy hour on Friday and a birthday party on Saturday to get through.
I haven't done any of my exercise yet, but I'm planning to do a run & a strength training workout this afternoon, which will put me on track to achieve my goal.
I did pretty well with not overindulging--I had an appetizer, a dinner, and a dessert, but my appetizer was very small, I picked the healthiest dinner on the menu--and didn't eat all of it, and my dessert wasn't too over the top.
Oh, and BEN AFFLECK was at the restaurant I went to for dinner last night!! Apparently he's in DC for something...

Those are great goals! I don't think I could limit my alcohol that far yet. I have curbed my drinking a ton since my younger days, but I usually limit myself to two, maybe 3, drinks on a night I go out, which is only once, maybe twice, a week now.

I did another run today, so I've got 2 runs & 1 strength workout done. I've still only had one alcoholic drink this week--I'm reserving my remaining two (one for happy hour tomorrow and one for an afternoon with a friend on Sunday). I've been eating moderately, too.

Congrats!! I haven't had many goals this week. I do feel on the lazy side for it, too.
I did write a letter to someone I'd like to be referral partners with. But I need to print my brochure to send with the letter.
I'm waiting until next week (when I get paid-I overspent these past two weeks) to print the brochure and register for the 3 day.
I'm feeling sick at the moment, though. I actually had to get my shift covered last night so I could go home. I'm starting to wonder if I am so miserable there that I am making myself sick about it. I will definitely be paying attention to my body on this one, and I will make the decision to quit if necessary, even if it's before I wanted to financially. I'm not destitute; I just wouldn't be getting ahead as quickly.
I guess I'd just have to really buckle down on building my business! No Options, right?
