I’d been having SUCH a not good week (I’ll probably post about that tomorrow…) until I got a birthday package from my mother. My birthday’s not until Wednesday but, like me, my mom likes to do things early! And she got me my favorite things… BOOKS!

I got Spilling Open, In the Know, Runemarks, and my personal favorite, Wife Dressing: The Art of Being a Well-Dressed Wife, which comes to us from 1959. So retro and cute and Donna Reed! Just look at the cover:

I can’t wait to read them on the plane this weekend–thanks, Mom!
