Day 6 of Month 359
Warning: The image in this post may disturb you. Pregnant women, children under 18, people with heart conditions or nervous disorders, and those with sensitive stomachs are advised not to proceed any further.
Are you still here?
Well, you’ve been warned.
This, Internet, is how I eat my waffles–I make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with the waffles as the bread. It’s been known to send my husband running out into the street, shrieking in horror at the despoilment of a perfectly good waffle.
Fie on maple syrup!

I have nothing against maple syrup (except when it gets in my hair) but I must say, I think I “get” the waffle PB&J sandwich. I could dig that
OOH, thanks for this peanut butter/jelly waffle idea!!! I have to use gluten-free flower and MISS bread like crazy. Am going to try this with soy flower soon!!!
Great photo!!! YUM!!!
Hugs, JJ
Ok, so the picture doesn’t look so ‘yummy’ but as I sit here and get ready for my run today…it actually sounds pretty good. I could definitely go for that. Obviously I won’t eat it now, but perhaps when I get back…yep, something else to forward to the finish line for!!

Were we separated at birth? Joking! But, I do something very similar, only I use peanut butter (crunchy, please) with banana and honey and the waffles as my bread. Yummy! It’s my favorite breakfast. Sometimes, I add a little wheat germ for extra oomph.
My husband is equally dismayed that I could put anything other than butter and syrup on a waffle.
I can only manage to eat a waffle a few times a year-I’m not much of a sweet tooth for baked goods, syrups, gooey stuff. I’m a straight sugar kind of girl. My first love is salt, though.
So yeah, this looks absolutely vile to me. But I’m glad it works for you! Now I just have to hope my husband doesn’t poke around to see where I’ve been on the internet, because one look at that messwich, and he’ll probably eat it for breakfast every single day until it gives him a heart attack.
Lol. I’ve never seen a waffle eatten like that before, but hey, I like PB&J, so now, you’ve given me an idea. Lol..
