It's OK to wallow in self-pity when you've gone through a rough time. Sometimes you need to feel crappy until you don't feel crappy anymore, and then you rise up and face the world, rejuvenated. Which you apparently have done, so good for you. I'm sorry you had to go through all that with the surgery. As for the breastfeeding, I can tell you that it's a little bit of a bummer to not be able to breastfeed, but if and when you have kids, they'll be fine. I had a reduction surgery about 2 1/2 years ago and wasn't able to breastfeed when my son was born. I tried and tried, but I just couldn't produce enough milk for him. So he's bottle-fed on formula, and the little monkey is thriving. Discipline and determination are great, but ease up on yourself from time to time, sister. I have a great idea but I am not in the right frame of mind to write it. ...maybe I'll join you in posting something creative...or maybe we can be big scaredy cats and make a separte blog to put it on so we can hide. lol! It's so hard to have perspective in the thick of the misery. You are right, chase those dreams. If your perfectionist gets crazy about the other projects turn them into short stories?
